Anthony Coby runs cobyhomes.com and the Coby Homes app. He is a licensed real estate agent with Keller Williams Elite, Oklahoma license 202722. On this page, "I" and "me" mean Anthony Coby. This is a plain-language summary of how your information is handled. It is not legal advice.
What the app and buyer pages keep
- Your email address. It is how you sign in: a one-time code goes to that address. It also matches you to a household invitation, or lets you create your own private home search with the name you provide.
- Your household membership. Which household you belong to. You can create a private household after verifying your email. You join an existing household only through an invitation I prepare for your email address.
- What your household shares. Favorites and reactions, comments, tour requests, walkthrough notes, ratings and scores, photos you take or add, and homes you send me (the listing link and any note you add). Everyone in your household sees these, and so do I.
- Homes you share from another app. When you share a listing to Coby Homes from another app, the link and your note wait on your iPhone until Coby Homes sends them to me. Signing out or deleting your account in the app removes any that have not been sent. If someone else uses Coby Homes on this iPhone, a home you shared and never sent is removed after 30 days, and a shared home is removed when its household is no longer on your account.
- Closing details. If I mark your purchase closed: the closing date, the address I entered, which seasonal reminders your household marked done or hid, whether you saw the closing screens, and whether you opened the Google or Zillow review page. I can see whether you opened a review page. Neither site tells me whether you posted a review, and I never see what you write. Other people in your household do not see which review pages you opened.
- Financing preferences. Loan type, down payment and cash available, if you enter them. They are shared across your household and used only to show illustrative payment estimates. An estimate is not a loan offer or a rate quote.
- Notification preferences. Your choices for email updates and iPhone notifications. These belong to you alone, not your household.
- A device token, if you turn on iPhone notifications. Apple provides this token so a notification can reach your iPhone. It is removed when you delete your account.
- Contact details I keep for you. Your name, email and phone number stay in my private client records so I can reach you. People in your household can see each other's names; the app and buyer pages do not show your email or phone number to anyone else.
- Basic records that keep the service working and safe. Sign-in sessions, a count of when a buyer page or the app was opened so I can see whether they are being used, and short-lived counters that limit repeated sign-in attempts and how many homes can be sent in a short time. These store a scrambled (hashed) form of a network address, email or account number, never the original.
What I do not do
- No advertising and no ad tracking. The Coby Homes app, account and listing-search screens, and private buyer pages (links that start with cobyhomes.com/c/) do not load analytics or advertising trackers.
- I do not sell or rent your information, and I do not share it for advertising.
- Private notes I write for myself about a home or a showing are never shown to buyers.
- When you send me a listing link, Coby Homes does not open or save the listing page. It keeps only the link and your note. If I add the home to your list, I add its details and photos myself.
Who helps run the service
- Supabase handles sign-in codes, accounts, household membership, your notification preferences and registered devices.
- Netlify hosts cobyhomes.com and stores household homes, homes you send me, showing plans, shared notes, photos and financing preferences.
- Resend delivers email from Coby Homes, such as showing plans and sign-in codes.
- SimplyRETS, when live listing search is available, supplies current property listings. Your search filters and listing identifiers go to that service; your household notes, financing details and email address do not.
- Apple distributes the app through the App Store and delivers iPhone notifications if you turn them on.
Each of these companies handles your information only to run its part of the service.
The public website
The public pages of cobyhomes.com, including the home page, the buying and selling guides, this page and the support page, use Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) pixel to count visits and measure advertising. Those tools are not loaded in the app or on private buyer pages. Forms on the website, including the newsletter sign-up at the bottom of this page, send what you enter to my contact system (Follow Up Boss) and to my email.
Your next-move requests
When you choose to send a buying plan, selling plan or home comparison, I keep the name, contact details, preferences, listing links and answers you provide, your request to receive a personal response, and the campaign link that brought you here. A private copy is stored on Netlify and the request is sent to Follow Up Boss for follow-up. Resend sends me a notification and, if you provide an email, sends you a copy of your request. Submitting a plan does not subscribe you to a newsletter.
The website keeps campaign labels in your browser tab so I can understand which links lead to requests. These labels do not identify visitors. Your contact details and plan answers are sent only when you submit the request; they are not included in the website’s analytics events. Signed-in accounts can show requests matching their verified email, but other household members do not see that request history. Private request records and contact-system records are kept separately from your app account. Contact me to review, correct or remove them.
How long information is kept
Your sign-in account stays until you delete it. Household records stay while the household is active, so everyone in it keeps the same history. When I delete a household, its homes, showing plans, notes, photos and memberships are deleted with it. Closing details and your household's reminder choices are kept until I delete the household.
Delete your account
In the Coby Homes app, open You, then choose Delete my account and confirm. This removes your sign-in, your household memberships, your notification preferences and your registered devices. Deleting your account also removes your record of the closing screens and review pages you opened. If you created a private search and are its only member, its saved homes, notes, ratings and photos are removed too. If other buyers share the household, its shared history stays available to them and me.
To have those removed as well, or if you use only the website, email cobyrealtor@gmail.com and I will take care of it.
Your choices
- Change email and notification choices in the app under You. iPhone notification permission can also be turned off in iPhone Settings.
- Ask me to show you, correct or delete the information I keep about you.
Children
Coby Homes is meant for adults working with me on a home purchase.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
