Sign in with an email code
Coby Homes does not use a password. Open the app or your Coby Homes account and enter your email address. A one-time code arrives at that address. If Anthony has invited that address, your household opens. Otherwise, when new accounts are available, enter your name to start a private home search.
Use the same email address Anthony added for you. A different address will not find your household.
Keep your code to yourself. Never share a sign-in code with anyone, including Anthony. He will never ask you for one.
If a code does not arrive or has expired
- Each code works once and expires after a short time. If yours has expired, request a new one and use the newest code only.
- Check your spam or junk folder, and search your email for Coby Homes.
- Wait about a minute between requests. Asking for several codes in a row can slow delivery.
- After several wrong codes, sign-in pauses for a while to protect your account. Wait about 15 minutes, then request a new code.
- Still nothing? Email Anthony with the address you are signing in with.
How households work
A household is the group of people buying together, such as you and a partner. Everyone in a household sees the same homes, showing plans, shared notes, photos and financing preferences, and changes show up for everyone.
Each person signs in with their own email address and verifies it with their own code. Email and iPhone notification choices belong to each person, not the whole household. To add someone, ask Anthony to add them with their own email address.
Some households open with a private link instead of a sign-in code. Treat that link like a password, and tell Anthony if it was shared by mistake.
Notifications
Choose email and iPhone notifications in the app under You. You can also turn off iPhone notifications for Coby Homes in iPhone Settings.
Delete your account
In the app, open You, choose Delete my account, and confirm. This removes your sign-in, your household memberships, your notification choices and your registered devices. If you created a private home search and are its only member, its saved homes, notes and photos are removed too. A shared household keeps its notes and photos for the remaining buyers and Anthony.
If you use only the website, or you want your shared notes and photos removed too, email Anthony and he will take care of it. Details are in the privacy policy.
